HSV one of the most common cylindrical-coordinate representations of points in an RGB color model. The geometry of RGB is repositioned by the two representations to try to be more perceptive and significant than the cube representation. HSV are mostly used today in color pickers, in image editing program, and less commonly in image analysis and computer vision. HSV stands for Hue, Saturation, and Value, and is also often called HSB (B for brightness).
